Sept 6, 2019 – Thanksgiving and Communal Bonding for 8 Years of Tazakka Islamic Boarding School. Tazakka is a future-oriented, dynamic and modern Islamic boarding school. This annual celebration, with its theme of “Tazakka Laying the Foundation for Excellent Civilization, Achieving Divine Pleasure for the Glory of the Nation” was attended by Vice President H.M. Jusuf Kalla who also at the same time inaugurated the Indonesia 2 Pondok Modern Tazakka building. This series of events, which took placed at Bandar, Batang, were also attended by the Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Syafruddin, BPKH Head Anggito Abimanyu and Rector of UIII Komaruddin Hidayat. Vice President Jusuf Kalla opened his speech by giving a word of appreciation to Pondok Modern Gontor which gave birth to Tazakka. “Modern is very dynamic, modern is following and even ahead of the times,” Jusuf Kalla said. In this case, BPKH is committed to assisting modern Tazakka boarding schools for accelerating the regeneration of human resources at Islamic boarding schools.
