SPREADING MESSAGE OF QUR’AN, BPKH PROVIDES 11.110 MANUSCRIPTS OF QUR’AN

JAKARTA – On Thursday (29/4), coinciding with the 17th of Ramadan 1442 Hijriah and the commemoration of Nuzulul Quran as the first time the Qur’an was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad SAW, BPKH held a Launching event for the Mushaf Sharing BPKH Social Responsibility Program. BPKH distributed 11,110 Al-Qur’an manuscripts in collaboration with 5 social responsibility partners consisting of LazisMU, NU Care-LazisNU, DT Peduli, Rumah Zakat and PPPA Daarul Qur’an.

The Al-Qur’an Mushaf will be distributed to all regions in Indonesia. Head of BPKH Anggito Abimanyu revealed that the donation of 11,110 Al-Qur’an manuscripts was part of an effort to disseminate the access of the Qur’an in Indonesia through the BPKH Social Responsibility program. “This Al-Qur’an sharing activity is one of BPKH’s efforts with Social Responsibility Partners in reaching and meeting the needs of the Qur’an in all regions of the country, especially remote areas,” said Anggito.

The handover of the Al-Qur’an donation was carried out symbolically by BPKH Executive Board Member for Corporate Secretariat and Social Responslibility Rahmat Hidayat to the Secretary of NU Care-LazisNU.

Abdur Rouf acts as a representative of 5 BPKH Social Responsibility Partners. The event was also enlivened with lectures by several prominent Islamic figures such as the General Chairperson of Muhammadiyah Haedar Nashir, General Chairperson of PBNU Said Aqil Siroj, Ulama Abdullah Gymnastiar or Aa Gym, Ustaz Yusuf Mansur and Ustaz Rikza Maulan regarding the importance of the Qur’an in human life.

The donation handover ceremony was carried out in accordance with the health protocols set by the government to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The provision of this assistance is part of the BPKH social responsibility program that comes from the value of benefit obtained from the results of the management of the Ummah Endowment Fund (DAU) in accordance with Article 17 of Law No. 34 of 2014.
